Colorado Lottery Starburst Award For Telluride Town Park Grandstands
The Colorado Lottery awarded a 2013 Starburst Community Award to the Town of Telluride for constructing two identical covered grandstand structures, located in Town Park to provide spectator seating and weather protection. Bone Construction was the builder for the Telluride Town Park Grandstands Project, which utilized a GOCO (Great Outdoors Colorado) grant of $112,285 for the project. The construction of the grandstands has created a community gathering space for many park user groups during both formal and informal recreation.
