BONE Construction has been published numerous times through out the years. Their attention to detail and expert workmanship have garnered BONE many accolades and continue to bring them new projects simply by word of mouth from very happy clients.
In 2008, Kathy Green was selected as Citizen of the Year, due to her extraordinary community efforts. The Telluride Foundation created its Citizen of the Year award in 2003 to honor San Miguel County residents who make remarkable and unselfish contributions to the region. Kathy has been serving on the Telluride Planning & Zoning Commission since 1983. She is also involved in the Telluride Ecology Commission, the Lift 7 subcommittee and is on the board of directors for the Ah Haa School and The New Community Coalition.



BONE continues to win many awards such as the 2010 HARC Preservation Award of Excellence in Rehabilitation & Restoration for the Old Stone Building also known as the Ah Haa Bookbinding Studio, the 2011 HARC Preservation Award of Excellence for Compatible Addition for the 1902 Queen Anne Style boarding house at 464 West Pacific and most recently, the 2012 Town of Telluride Historic and Architectural Review Commission Award of Excellence for Compatible Infill for Baked In Telluride at 127 South Fir Street.

Colorado Lottery Starburst Award For Telluride Town Park Grandstands
The Colorado Lottery awarded a 2013 Starburst Community Award to the Town of Telluride for constructing two identical covered grandstand structures, located in Town Park to provide spectator seating and weather protection. Bone Construction was the builder for the Telluride Town Park Grandstands Project, which utilized a GOCO (Great Outdoors Colorado) grant of $112,285 for the project. The construction of the grandstands has created a community gathering space for many park user groups during both formal and informal recreation.
